Act For Good  / Carrefour App TVC

Talking about starting big, we raced into 2021 with this TVC animation for Carrefour Act for Good Romania. This is a manifesto that takes us in a fantastic animated journey through the whole ecosystem of this app and of the responsible and community oriented buying experience that it stands for. 

We created the character design and the illustration part keeping in mind that this style will be used on TV, Social Media, Outdoor, YouTube, print and in store for the whole year. No pressure. And also that we would animate everything in 2D and frame by frame animation.

We actually had lots of fun illustrating and animating it all. It took a lot of discipline and good organizing, and the nice detail from behind the curtains is that the team grew fonder and fonder of the characters and the story we were telling. And this made the whole animation process much lighter. 

We felt lucky we worked with a super supportive team from the production company and also from the advertising agency and the client. When SAGA Film and Publicis Romania approached us with the project, we had no idea that it will turn out to be such a love project for the client. And that it will open a very healthy appetite for animated TV commercials for the app in a span of 2-3 months.
